Aluminium Cartridges
Available in 100cc, 134cc and 170cc sizes. Aluminium cartridges are for use with our larger industrial sterilizers.
Indicators
Indicator Spots
The stickers can be placed on the outside of items to be sterilized and provide an instant visual confirmation that the items have been exposed to Ethylene Oxide. However, stickers not be used for proof of sterilization.
Chemical Indicators
Similar to the indicator spots, these indicators will change colour however only when exposed to EtO at 54°C
Dosimeters for Ethylene Oxide
The dosimeter, when placed in the liner bag during a cycle, will indicate whether the correct conditions have been met for sterilization; The correct temperature, humidity and gas concentration are required for the dosimeter to initiate a colour change.
Biological Indicators
Bacillus atrophaeus and Geobacillus sterothermophilus
Axis biological indicators suitable for Etylene oxide / ETO(Bacillus atrophaeus) and Steam (Geobacillus stearothermophilus). These indicators are self-contained; the spores are loaded onto a strip within a vial, separated from the growth medium by a second glass vial. The organisms are loaded at a concentration greater than 1x10⁶ and meet the Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) for Ethylene Oxide and steam; thus proving sterilization.
AXIS Incubator
The incubator is designed for use with Axis biological indicators and can be set for 37°C or 59°C dependant on which organism is used.
